I have a similar problem with my a1200. I can't hear the other party and the other party can't hear me at random intervals. However this problem totally disappears when I switch to speakerphone. It's very annoying.

I had the same issue. I got a replacement flip top for my phone and it worked for 5 minutes and then started happining again. so i took it apart again and used the brown ribbon from my new flip speaker and solderd it to the two points on my old flip. that worked for 5 min or so and now im still having to use speaker phone. what the hell could it be?

I cant hear the voice f i call anyone

If you can't hear, then it's the ringer or speaker problem, try with your headset to make sure it's working. If you can hear using your headset, you only need to replace the Speaker, the technician at the mobile repairing shop will fix it for you. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

I can only hear sounds when phone is on Speaker Phone.

In this case check the volume of you're Handheld, If it is low, Increase the volume and check still if it is not working you need to walk into the service center to check the speaker of you're Handheld.

Motorola A1200 krypad

By default the unlock code is 1234. You can also try the last four digits of your phone number.

If neither of those things work, at the "Enter Unlock Code" screen, push the button with three horizontal bars. That will bring you to the unlock code bypass screen. At that point you would have to enter your security code.

By default your security code is 000000 unless you changed it.

A1200

Your earpiece flex cable is coming loose or is broken. It will need to be repaired or it will eventually break all the way and you will only be able to use the speaker phone.

Can't hear caller

The earpiece speaker has gone bad. Unless you have access to a replacement speaker and can solder you will have to take the phone to you nearest Motorola service center.
