My truck wont start when i use the remote. the power in the tuck turn on but the truck never turns over. 2006 ford f-150

Sounds as if your immobilizer bypass is malfunctioning. To test, remote start vehicle. Check vehicle cluster (gages). If the immobilizer bypass is the issue, there will be car/lock symbol flashing rapidly. To confirm, put the key in the ignition(do not turn), remote start the vehicle. It should start. If the vehicle starts, remove key, remote start again without key. If the vehicle does not start, have the immobilizer serviced. If the vehicle does not remote start with the key in the ignition, the issue may be with the remote starter's starter output.

I have the PROOE4BS and my remote got water on it and the remote doesnt work but everytime i get into the car the alarm goes off and my car wont start. Is there any way i can bypass the alarm to start the...

Look under the dash for a small button or toggle switch. Put the key in the ignition, turn the ignition on, and press the button or flip the switch. That will put the alarm in valet mode to get you by until you can get a replacement remote. Reverse the process after you've replaced the remote.

HAVE A PRESTIGE APS686T REMOTE START ON A2003 FORD FOCUS.HAD 2 NEW KEYS PROGRAMMED. THE REMOTE START FLASHES MY THEFT LIGHT AND WILL NOT START. HOW DO I PROGRAMM THE PRESTIGE TO MY KEYS.

When you had the new keys programmed, the bypass was erased. More than likely, it was a key. Try this: put the first of the two new keys into the ignition, turn the ignition on. The theft light will light up, then go off. Immediately remove the key and put the second key into the ignition. Turn the ignition on, the theft light will come. When the theft goes out remote start the vehicle with the remote, quickly remove the key from the ignition. If the vehicle starts let it run for a few seconds and then shut the remote starter down with the brake. Wait a few seconds before testing the system.
If the above programming does not work the first time, try it again. It may take a few attempts because the process is time sensitive. You CANNOT allow too much time to pass between switching the keys.

Starts but no heat/ac blower motor until key is in ign. & turned on.

Many vehicles have a second or third ignition that need to be hooked up in order to power accessories.

Visit the dealer who installed the unit, or a good quality local Car Electronics specialist and they can help you.

I have a new prestige APS-57C remote starter installed in a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and I have a problem with the factory alarm going off every once and awhile. The majority of the time everything is fine,...

Maybe the installer did not hook up the remote starter unit to disarm the factory security system upon entry or remote-starting. Ask the installer to double check that part of the install as it would cause the factory security to trigger even though you unlocked the vehicle with the remote start unit remote.

put your key in the ignition switch leave it in the off position, now remote start your car, if it stays running your transponder loop needs to be adjusted or your "key in the box"

Do these work with pus button ignitio

Yes, the remote start can still operate your car, but I suggest not installing it yourself.. Take it to a reputable shop in your area! Push button start cars are different than regular key ignitions, so if you have no experience with remote starts, dont try it.

Prestige aps-57 remote start...car won't start

Hello hope this can help you. First check the starter wire, it is tan/lt blue located at the ignition harness. usualy during installation of the remote start system this wire is cut leaving you with two ends. one wire is coming from the ignition switch the other is going to the starter. the brain of the alarm hooks into both of these wires. if the repair man cut the wires from the brain and spliced them together he has just put the system back to OEM status leaving the alarm no way to engage the starter. I believe that may be where the problem lies but if not then I would say check your immobilizer bypass module the repair man mave have diconected that.

Thank you,
Luis
