Ihave gogear sa32x wh i turn on on screen i see philips logo and

you may need to install the driver for the computer to recognise the mp3 player (go to control panel, swich to classic view if it isnt already and go to add hardware then follow the onscreen instuctions). 'ready to disconnect' is normal it is just telling you that it is safe to remove the player from the computer. 2 possibilities for turning off: the battery needs charging (connect to computer to do this) or the player is locked. refer to the user manual under controls to find out how to unlock it. as far as i know, as i have a gogear sa1922, there is a slider somewhere on the player to unlock it. hope this helps, solver214!

Blue Screen on Phillips GoGear 6mb

To reset it, remove and reinsert the batteries.

Unfortunately, this GoGear did not come with a recovery method. You cango to www.usasupport.philips.com and enter in your model #. Go to"software & drivers" section. see if it has a download fordevice/firmware manager - but I believe this is the one SA model thatdid not have one. Click on the "Repair" tab if you are able to load thesoftware.

My mp3 player wont turn on and my songs are gone

First, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

If that fails:
Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).
