To turn on the phone, press and hold the "I" button on the top of the phone, as seen on page 5 of the previously mentioned user guide.

You may try by following instructions....
Warning: Do not enter any wrong unlock unlock codes on your Sony Ericsson K800 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Switch ON your Sony Ericsson K800 mobile phone without any SIM Card,
2 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
3 - Press the button * twice,
4 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
5 - The message "Personalize with MNC2" will appear,
(or you will have displayed an unlock menu, select the lock you want to unlock)
6 - Enter the Unlock Code.

If your Sony Ericsson K800 mobile phone does not have a left arrow button/key(e.g. Sony Ericsson W950i) and on a few phones(not all) that have a "JOGDIAL" you must press the "down arrow" key/button instead of the "left arrow" key/button for step 2 & 4. We mean by "Down Arrow" to direct the Jogdial down! In the Sony Ericsson W950i and some other models, the down arrow button/key would be located on the side of the phone.

Connect your phone to PC via USB. Select File Transfer mode in your phone. Now go to My computer in your PC. Right click on memory stick drive & select format. If this doesnt work. Try the same procrdure but use USB card reader

You have to contact Sony Ericsson and have them re-flash the firmware on your phone. They are the one who knows the firmware version that would work best for your phone.

press and hold the number 1 button key or call you mobile provider to re-activate it for you.

take the phone to a mobile service center and have them repaced your speaker this will correct the issue that you are having with your phone.

the phone service could be barred on softtouch or call you carrier and explain the problem to them.

try flashing(update software) the phone. does not require phone to be on. go to sony ericsson home website, on the page youl find the link (update software) download it. open the file and follow the instructions,(you will need a a sony ericsson transfer cable) updating the software will delete things on your phone ,take out ur sim b4 doing this.

When you try to turn it on, look by the infared port... is there a flashing red led for about 2-3 seconds? if so... Please check out post from: http://www.fixya.com/support/t400360-k800i_will_not_turn_infa_red_light_when

Just make sure you read my second post as well.... dont want you deleting phone contacts etc by mistake.
