if the security light is solid when you turn the key to the "start" position, then it has to do with your security/key system. I believe you will need to take your key to your local dealer with the VIN number and proof of ownership and they will reset you keys' computer chip.
IF YOU GOT 2 SETS OF KEYS TRY ANOTHER IGNITION KEY.THAT NOT WORN.TURN ON IGNITION FOR 5 SECONDS.SWITCH THE IGNITION OFF.WAIT APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.SWITCH IGNITION ON FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.SWITCH IGNITION OFF.WAIT APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.START ENGINE.IF STARTS OTHER KEY WAS WORN.IF CAR STILL DONT CRANK.THE DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACE KEYS AND ANTI THEFT SYSTEM AND REPROGRAM TO CRANK.ALSO CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE NEUTRAL START BACK UP LIGHT SWITCH IS WORKING.IF FAULTY IT WILL ALSO CAUSE NO START PROBLEMS.
Put the car in neutral and step on the brake and turn slowly to the right. Anything? Shift from neutral back into park and turn the steering wheel slightly left and right while turning the key. Anything? Is this key a copy? Compare it to an original that you never use to make sure the cut and size is correct. You may need to go to the locksmith and get a new key cut off of the original key you don't use often, because a copy of a copy of a copy will never be as good as the original.
Check your owners manual. Put the right key in the ignition, turn it on until the gauges light up and leave it for about 10 minutes like that. If it has a security light or a theft light flashing wait until it goes off, then remove the key and try to start it.
