If you can view old / stored picture clearly then it seems ccd imager defective in your Canon A75 camera. You will see noisy bars / pink shades. Canon will repair it free of cost.

How to take off front screen

There is usually two reasons you get blurred photos. 1) camera movement and 2) subject movement ... sometimes both. This happens when the shutter speed picked by your camera is too slow and unless you have the digital hd video camera on a tripod, it has some kind of image stabilization scheme and the subject is not moving, you will get blurred images.

I am surprised you picked a camera that cannot use your old SD cards. Did you know that only Olympus and Sony do NOT use SD cards?

Camera on XDA trion focusses correctly for neat focus, but shows a blurred screen for distant focus. When originally switched on to the camera and '1x' focus appears by default, a blurred green...

Most likely you have activated the Macro function. Usually this function is illustrated by a flower icon. This function is used to shoot from very small distances. Deactivate the macro function.

How do you remove the blur warning icon from the camera screen. Thanks

Welcome To FixYa.

Blur warning ussually appears in Suppressed flash mode. In this mode the flash does not fire even when the subjects is poorly lit. Blur warning will appear in the monitor at slow shutter speeds to warn that pictures may be blurred. Use of a tripod is recommended.

To view or hide other indicators on the screen/monitor you just have to click the DISP/BACK button.

I hope this information will help you on your issues regarding your camera.

It wont focus and the photo is blurred

If the camera is showing a black or distorted screen when set to photo, and photos that are taken with the black screen also show up black or distorted, then this would likely be a CCD imager failure, a common occurrence for your model camera.
If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this linkfor more info.

Canon Power shot 570 IS problem

Check to see if your camera is in Macro mode. This may cause blur. Also hit your function/set button to see if it is in digital macro mode.

Make sure your lens is clean.

Make sure you are set to automatic mode and zoomed all the way out. There are several things that may cause blur, the most of which is camera shake. Make sure your Image Stabilization is turned on. If it is, you will see a little hand in the bottom right corner of the LCD screen.

If it's not on, turn it on in the setup (tools) menu.

If your shutter speed is slow, this will cause image blur, but in auto mode, you won't have to worry about the shutter speed, it will be set automatically.

Hope this helps.

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
