Hi I have a Kenmore model number 362.75291790 that take a long time to light. When you first turn on the stove the ignitor is clicking but there is no gas coming out. After about 10 minitues the gas comes out and it lights. Any idea what it is I need to change out?
Thanks
Lenny
First, I'm not a Kenmore Tech.
* call vendor for service. Gas leaks are hazardous and require a qualified tech to service.
*** The following is for information only.***
* I've always had problems servicing gas stove, heaters, boilers, etc. Lots of unique components that require special tools to service.
* I was surprised to find out that it's better to call on your local Gas Supplier for service. The not only check the supply line but also have a very good working experience with all types of gas fired equipment.
* Slow pilot lighting or burner fire usually means a clogged gas vent or valve. If other burners are working fine, then it's just that particular burner.
* If all burners have the same symptom then it could be a number of things.
* Check gas mains for pressure and flow (you need a gas meter for this but if you have another stove on the same line then it's probable that the mains are okay. Unless the connector or shutoff valve is not working properly (partial open).
* Check gas hose to stove for kinks. Replace if bent (re bending will crack a metal hose.)
* Check the gas regulator (again, need a gas meter)
* Check the feed and branches for gas. If pilot lights are not on then there is a good indication that your not getting gas to that section. (or the pilot is clogged) Clean, clear, or replace pipes/parts.
* Check valve on each burner. This is the most used item on the stove. Expect it to wear out. Replace as needed.
* Final, Be safe; Call your Gas company or MFR tech for service.

Will have to ask some basic questions first. How old is the stove? What is the entire model # from the sticker on the unit? Is this LP or natural gas? Also, make sure that the orifices in the center of the burners are clean (can use a safety pin or paper clip to poke them a few times to clean). Make sure that the black caps are on top of the burners and seated properly or they will not lite. Let me know what you find.
SOURCE: kenmore gas stove makes a buzzing sound
Is the door locked?? Is it an electronic buzzer sound??
hold the CLEAR button for 3 seconds - the door will unlock.
open the door - and press CLEAR for 3 seconds.
Error code may come up.... close and re-open the door.
Are there any indications on the display?
Or is this a mechanical buzzing from underneath? in this case your gas regulator's diaphragm has failed.
If the above reset doesnt wokr (and the sound is electric) your circuit board will need replacement.

Crack the line and see if you are getting gas to the stove first of all. If you are then the pressure regulator is either not set right or bad. Lots of times they do go bad if they sit up a while and no one bothered to cap off the regulator.

SOURCE: I have a kenmore stove 362.7361193 pilot not on
There isn't a pilot light on MOST modern gas ranges. The top burners are controlled by individual igniters through a common spark module. The oven, however, is controlled by an igniter on each manifold. One for bake, one for broil. If you are having problems with ONE of the oven features, I would suspect a bad igniter. If BOTH oven features are bad, you may have a bad Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board. If the oven works, but none of the surface burners are working, I would suspect a bad spark module. The following link explains a little theory on oven igniters:

Since your range appears to have a common gas safety valve and regulator, all burners are fed fromthe same gas source. Which means, if you have ANY burners lighting, you probably don't have a gas problem.
I hope you can determine what your problem is from the information I provided. If not, please post back and elaborate a bit more on your symptoms so that I may assist you better. I hope this helps you.
