If you already tried a new battery, perhaps only the contacts in the camera's battery holder are dirty or oxidised. You could try cleaning contacts with a dry cloth or cotton swabs. Never use sharp tools in or close to a camera.
If you did not try another battery, please borrow or buy one, to make sure that could solve the problem.
If you haven't already...I'd try new batteries and use good ones like Energizer Lithiums. Some electronic devices are sensitive to lower battery voltages.
I don't know the exact fault of this problem, but try these steps for the no power problem: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) In order to organise your repair or Trade up please Contact KODAK: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=14563&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=3490
Some batteries simply don't fit right in this camera. Look at the battery connections-no standard bumps and springs. Then take a good look at two different makes of batteries. Some batteries have edges arount the end that extend further than others.
Try a different brand of batteries.

The error 10 message is trying to tell you that the new memory card you have tried to put in is not compatable with your camera. AS you have already tried turning it off/on, replacing batteries etc, you can try taking all cards out, and attempt to get it to fuction correctly with original cmaera memory. After taking out all cards, and with a fully new set of batteries in, use your cameras menu to format the camera memory. Now try and take photos with just normal memory. Is it working? If it does, and error is gone, put in old memory card and reformat it. Does camera pick it up and recognise it. Can you now use it. The new card you tried to install may have been an incompatable brand. Check your manual for approved brands or your local dealer. The card could also be faulty.
