For some time the oven would turn itself off when cooking anything with a high water content like potatoes or turkey bacon. Recently, the display would stick and the overn would cut off and the timer would ding without stopping. The only thing we could do was unplug it. Now the display does not light up at all. The stovetop still works.

SOURCE: Hello, I have a Frigidaire
I figured it was the ignitor given the burners work fine and I could smell gas from the oven when I would try to turn it on. So I found a local parts store and bought the replacement ignitor. I cut the wires of the old ignitor close to the ceramic and spliced the new one on with porcelain nuts and voila my oven now works again!
SOURCE: LG Electric Range Oven Keeps Shutting Off
When you say "Just shut off" do you mean the circuit breakers would trip, or fuses would blow? If so, I would have an electrician check that the circuit is properly fused/breakered and wire sized for the amount of power required by the oven. If the installation directions say it needs a 50 amp service, it better be a 50 amp service.
If shutting off is just something within the oven, then get LG back out again, and let us know of what they say is wrong.
SOURCE: How to set the oven timer?
To Program Oven for a Delayed Start Time and to Shut-Off Automatically 1. Be sure that the clock shows the correct time of day. 2. Place the food in the oven. 3. Push "Bake Time". "00:00" and the words "BAKE TIME" will glow in the display window. 4. Push and hold up or down arrows until the desired baking time appears in the display. 5. After the bake time has been set, "----°" will appear in the display and the word "BAKE" will flash. The display will flash and beep once until the oven temperature has been set. 6. Push "Stop time". The time when baking will stop, will appear in the display window. The words "BAKE STOP TIME" will glow in the display. 7. Push and hold up or down arrows until the time that you want cooking to be completed appears in the display. 8. Push Bake (or Conv). "---°" will appear, and the word "BAKE" will glow in the display. 9. Push and hold up or down arrows until the desired baking temperature appears in the display. 10. If the baking temperature is not set, the control will beep. "---°" will flash and the word "BAKE" will appear in the display.

check electrical panel of your house and make sure both breakers are in the on possition ..
Hello - I would first suggest confirming that the range is plug to the proper voltage (120/240 Volts 40/50 Amp). Was there anything located behind the range before pushing it back? From what you have described it sounds like the control board will need diagnosing. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
