Re: lg td-c70045e electric dryer power on but not turning
I had the same problem. Replaced the capacitor and now all is ok. Dryer is working 100%. If you hear a humming sound from the motor then it means the capcitor is faulty and does not start the motor properly.

Try this, open the dryer door and hold down the door light switch. Turn on the dryer and press start. When you hear the motor humming, turn the drum clockwise with your hand to see if it will turn. If itruns, you have a bad motor and will need to be replaced. If it doesn't turn, something is jammedinside and you will need to disassemble the unit to find the jam. Hope this helps.
hello the first thing to check is. the long pin on the inside of the door these sometimes snap off . if ok then check to see if the belt has come or snaped if ok then you may need to check the capacitor this next to the motor will have 2 wires coming off it these dry up good luck
On the LG TD-C70045E the reset button for the heater is located inside the back air-way cover. This is easy enough to remove and the button is obvious once the cover is off. The button will 'click' satisfyingly if it has tripped. Don't forget to switch off and unlug first...
