According to the specs it can play MP2 and MP2 music files, You can check the specs from this WEB site. http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/SC-HC27?t=specs You need to copy the MP3 music files to an USB memory stick and connect it to the Panasonic then select the USB memory stick music file to play.
Please ensure that you copy the MP3 Files back to your device after you format it.
When you are done copying the files, restart the MP3 Player and check if the files are being read.
If the files are not being read , then connect your Mp3 player to your computer and change the format mode while you format the device and then again load the mp3 files and then restart the player to check if the files are detected.
To clarify , if you formatted your device using a NTSC format earlier , check formatting it in the fat32 mode and see if it works find after copying the files to the player.
Hope that helps ...:) In case you have any queries, feel free to contact me.
if suddenly your mobile option you, "Playback failed", that means the phone can not locate the file where it was placed, mostly this problem prisist, when you are using low quality 1 GB memory stick, then it is understood that the file which is bieng played, is moved or the phone is unable to locate the desired file.
mostly for such memory sticks phone lost the files, its solution is remove the memory stick and restart the phone or try formating the memory stick several time from the phone.
I had the same problem on memory stick. If I have pictures only on memory stick it is working (pictures played in a slide show). After that I've try with a mixed CD (MP3 + pictures) and was the same problem - only MP3 played. I think KD AVX33 doesn't know to read both type of files at the same time.
Once you've added new mp3 files it is necessary to update the track listing in the music player. When you open the music player, it gives you 5 options to go to. You'd ordinarily got to 'Now Playing' but because the track listing has changed you're now required to go to 'Tracks'. When you hit this button the phone searches your media files for any audio media it can play. This may take a minute depending on how many tracks you have, but once it's done you just press play and you're done.
