I have MXZ 600 Sport carb it dose not the power on top end that it should have top speed is only about 80 mph. Changed spring on secondary clutch and still no top end power. what else could cause this?

Ensure carb and all circuits are cleaned. Ensure float drop is correct. Ensure carb bowl is staying full (check clean or replace fuel filter). Check spark plugs, to ensure they are clean and called for by manufacturer. Check to make sure spark plug wires and boot are not losing spark ( run in a dark place and see if fire is noticeable with everything hooked up properly). Ensure gas is fresh and correct octane rating.

How to access idle screws

Big brass screws on each carb, left side of carb I think, not that easy to get at on the GTX, but you can turn them by hand

Ski-doo won't stay running or idle

sounds like it could be the air to fuel ratio. if it only want to run with the choke on. I would say to make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight and that you check the gaskets in between the carb and the motor. another thing you could do is get a can of starting fluid and spray it around the carb while the motor is running (do not spray it in the carb)if the idle changes or if it dies you need to replace gaskets.

When i go to start the ski doo it doesn't want to start, but when i pore gas in the spark plugs it fires burns the gas then dies

first of all check your fuel filter and then the fuel line,it can be the fuel line inside the tank (if it do it only when in low gas)it can be the fuel pump or the suction line from the motor base i hope it will help
