My phone fell in the toliet

It was only in there for a second and it still turns on but only the end call button works. Nothing else will work on it.

Switch off the phone as soon as possible. Allow it to dry else the circuits will be affected. Check if it works tomorrow, if it doesn't you might need professional help. Some components will require change.

Dropped my phone in water

Take as much of the outside casing apart as you can and remove battery if possible straight away then leave submerged in a bowl of rice overnight. Sounds silly but it works. Hope this helps.

My battery fell out of my phone I tried turning it on but it seems the end button doesnt work. I tried plugging it in but it goes to the charging screen but won't turn all the way on please help!

Hi,here are the basic steps to check your phone problem.

* Try another battery to check if that's the only problem,
* also try another battery if there's a response in charging.
* check the battery terminal if there's a corrosion as well as the battery interface, re-align battery terminal pins if its leveled.
* if nothing the above works, consult a mobile service center for assistance.

The apple appears when turned on but quickly disappears. it fell in te toliet for about 3 seconds.how can i fix it?

If it was working fine before it fell in the toilet, it probably has water damage. Take it to an Apple Store or contact Apple for tech support.

Matt

I dropped my cordless land line phone in the toliet and now it doesn't work how cana i fix it

You probably cannot. Remove the battery and immerse the phone on a bag of rice for a couple days. If it will work at the end, you have pulled the rabbit out of the hat.

Thanks for your visit today.

Dropped Pantech Matrix in water

it's probably going to be really expensive to repair it if there is major damage. but i got in the pool with my matrix in my pocket and i dried it out and it wont turn on with the battery in it(it's bad i know) but if i take it out and plug it up it works fine but i cannot call, or text. it wont connect to a network. i dont know whether or not i should invest in a battery which isn't that pricey at all or just get a new phone. i'm just not sure if a new battery will fix the problem.

Dropped in toliet!

Turn it off (If it hasn't shut off already). Take the battery out. Let it sit for at least 4 hours in a warm area (about 85 F will do). The moisture needs to completely evaporate from all parts inside the phone. When the phone is dry and has had time in that warm environment to evaporate, you can put your battery back into the phone and turn it on. Depending on the level of damage done, it will either work fine, work but have glitches here and there, work on some things but not others, or not work at all. If the phone fails to turn on, take it to your local retailer and ask them to test it for functionality, and if possible, to reprogram the phone (re-install its firmware). If none of these things help, you'll have to replace your phone.
