The ThinkPad 600E is at least 5 years old? If so, have you changed a RTC Battery (CMOS Back-up Battery) 3V Button cell type that goes somewhere inside the Laptop and sits on the System/Motherboard. I hope you put it back the right way polarity is critical. If not then i have no idea to what it is, though someone will be able to help also you might want to try http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/ibm-thinkpad-bios-error-code/ good luck, Bastian

Hello, I have WHIRLPOOL washing mashine model AWE 2214. Yesterday during squeezing, the masine stoped without noise, no indication buttons.I cheked everything, but the mashine no start. Please, help me!...

Go to www.washingmachine-manual.com/whirlpool-awe-2214.html for the handbook. Make a cup of coffee and have a read up. If that fails to help then its an engineer I'm afraid.
If you have a good diy friend have them check the belt drive if it has one? Be careful of electricity and water, they don't mix.

Saeco xelsis leaking water

The removable drip tray inside the front of the machine has two rubber inserts on the back side and the rubber has come away from the plastic causing a false leak. You will need to order a new one or fix the existing one.

Please please help me someone, the presser foot of my sewing mashine pfaff 2056 is stopped working. Where can be a problem?

Your cam lever is probably broke. I'm not exactly familiar with your machine but see if you can get into that area to verify. If that is too much of a challenge. Take it in for repair

My new omega washing mashine shows an E2 error code 5 miniutes into the wash how do I fix this?

Hello,

Manufactured by omega washing mashine have an electronic controlpanel that must be unlocked in order to set or make changes to your washingcycle.
E2 indicates a water leak. When a leak occurs, it trips thefloat device by dumping water into the dishwasher's base. The incoming watervalve will be switched off, and the drain pump will turn on until the sump isempty
However, if an error light is blinking on your dishwasher'scontrol panel, the panel must be reset before you can gain access. Blinkinglights on your washer control panel may signal a mechanical problem that needsto be repaired. If the lights continue to blink after you've reset the controlpanel, contact Sears to service omega washing mashine or considertroubleshooting the appliance yourself carefully.Instructions
1 Press and hold the "Heated Dry" button onyour omega washing mashine for four seconds to unlock the dishwasher controlpanel.
2 Press the "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash,""Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" buttons one after theother, in fairly quick succession.
3 Wait for the washer to run a short diagnostic test.
4 Press the "Cancel/Drain" button at the endof the diagnostic test cycle. This should reset the control panel on your omegawashing mashine. Thankfor using fixya.

After mashine is in the middle of the cycle it

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the washer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. It's been about 55 years since I had experience with front load washers. I believe you may have a bad lid switch. I suggest you go to www.acmehowto.com where they have an excellent video on directdrive washers. If you need additional help you could try www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on washers as well as other appliances. You can search for the meaning of the error code on the site. I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

Plug off the wall. Clean out your outlet filter. Access is a door in the front bottom of your machine, be prepared for some water to come out. Refit.

ibm thinkpad does not boot My IBM Thinkpad 600 (Type 2645-310) stops and hang during bootup. What happens is: 1. LED test, then green Power on and orange battery/charging 3. RAM OK (Responds when I take out /put in different amount of RAM and displays correctly. I have 128 + 32 removable, + 32 internal not possible to take out) 2. I can hear fan, CD drive and evt diskette drive. If I use diskette drive the LED wil give 1 blink, if I use CD drive it will give 14 blink. 3. No cursor seen, but this is displayed: Upper left show the amount of RAM present: 196032 KB OK Upper right IBMs logo in blue; IBM Lower left shows "ThinkPad(R)" in large letters and red dot over "i". 4. Then a "rrrrrr" sound from the loudspeakers after a while, this is in fact 28 clicks shortly after each other. Then nothing more happens. Diskette and CD drive is OK (But can not be used because bootup is never finished). I hear CD speed up and then down again but nothing more happens. No effect in booting with bootable diskette or CD, "Live Linux" CD or else. Backup battery OK (3V) and if I take it out I will be asked for correct date and time when Power on. I can then use keyboard or TrackPoint to set date and time, and after that hangup at the usual point. Starting without battery, HDD, CD drive and removable memory sticks makes no difference in symptoms. Pressing and holding F1 before and during poweron and startup (in order to enter BIOS and selftest) has no effect. I could not find help on IBMs home page, but maybe I did not look at the right place. Is somebody able to help me?
