Look very carefully at audio out on RCA ,GE,& Proscan..
Thomson Electronics decided not to line up their A / V
connections all in a row vertically or horizontally. It is a mixture
of the two! To their credit, proper inputs & outputs are color-
coded........T.

Speakers not playing

The problem can be the cable or speakers or RX-V463 or settings. Need to check one by one.
Set the RX-V on DTS or Dolby Digital
1) Check Cables - connect the 2 (surround) cables from RXV's Centre Out to Centre speaker. If the Centre speaker works, then cables are ok.
2) Check speakers - Connect each Surround speaker to RXV's Centre out. If it works Speakers are ok.
3) Check RXV - Set it on DTS or Dolby Digital
Connect RXV's surround out (one at a time) L and R to the Centre speaker. If there is no sound, the problem could be RXV's settings (I need to read the manual).

Hope this helps.

My Yamaha RXV -2500 started switching audio signals from one componet to another! Example - Sat/Cab sound coming out of the Wii and Wii coming out of the Sat/Cab. I have not touched anything and this...

You need to go into the "GUI" menu and re-assign the audio inputs to the correct source. The manual will walk you thru it as well. If you still need further help, post a comment or reply and I can help with further detail. Hope this helps.

When listening to the fm tuner on my yamaha htr 6060, will all 7 speakers still make sound? i' having trouble getting sound from the other speaker connections other than the L and R front connection.

analog fm is broadcast in stereo you would need to use a simulated surround setting to have sound come out of your rear and mid surround speakers.
your manual says the default setting for fm broadcast is:
Radio Listening TUNER MUSIC ENHANCER
7ch Enhancer
Select this SCENE template when you enjoy FM or AM
radio programs.
make sure you unit is not in straight mode try pushing the straight button on the front of the receiver let us know if more troubleshooting is needed.

Cheers!

Yamaha reciever rx-v363

Thats because if you look in the owner's manual, it declares the fact that it will only broadcast sound from hdmi to monitor not speakers. For sound out of speakers need to connect additional audio cable.
