SOURCE: RCA d52w23 shows pictures in triplicate:blue green and red.
There are several things that can cause this. There is a "light pipe" that connects from the lamp to the color wheel. If the mirrors inside have become dirty, broken, or have shifted it will cause the picture to do this. Also the color wheel itslef could be dirty or worn out. And the final culprit could be the light engine itself. You can have any in home TV tech test these out for you.

SOURCE: My RCA D52W23 has 3 colors split.
Thats a convergence failure. You can get a repair kit called " The ITC222 and ITC222A convergence option missing repair kit" From www.tvrepairworld.com which should solve the issue. The kit also contains the CD with instructions.
