We 2 sony Ericssons both are failing to respond when you want to.
Failing to respond when you want to disconnect or hangup on a call, the screen goes blank and it continues with the call. It will not work by shutting it or push the disconnect button. If you power down during this problem the screen will flash on an off. It is like a computer when it locks up. Both phones are doing it. Are they just junk. Steve

Sir/Mam Try this code and see whether it's helpful to you or not? Older Ericssons *#0000# & Newer Ericssons <0000> & Also, pressing <8888> on the newer Ericssons changes the language to Automatic. < stands for left arrow button or joystick and > stands for right arrow button or joystick.
The clicking you are hearing was probably always there, it's just that when something goes awry, one pays closer attention.
What you hear is probably a relay that connects power to the rest of the set.
Since our sets can respond to a remote, they always have a little bit of life to supply power to the infra-red receiver so it can respond when 'off.'
I see two possibilities; the relay itself has burned contacts and not always 'closing' as it should, or, the high voltage circuit is failing to turn on as it should causing an excessive current to flow for a moment and a protective circuit to trip and disconnect the power from the main supply.
It probably will get worse if the problem is not found and could damage other circuitry as well.
Good luck finding a TV repair man who isn't deceased or out of business but I do recommend you try to have it repaired.
Once repaired, it will outlast most any panel/flat screen-type TV as it appears nearly all of them are failing much too early in life.
You can check by entering just "LCD," "plasma" or "projection" plus TV in the search window here.
Try using Sony Ericssons software update utility to update the firmware or reinstall the existing firmware...
Its available at the Sony Ericsson website, unfortunately the K800 does have quite a few software bugs, white screen of death, black screen, red blinking light, etc...
Please note doing this will delete anything saved on the phone, if you can try using the Mass Storage mode to backup items like images... also if the phone was flash patch unlocked then it will need to be unlocked again
There is a problem with your firmware. It seems that your software became corrupt. It happens all the time on Sony Ericssons. Bring it to your local cellular service center and they should be abale to flash it for you on the site under warranty. If you run into any problems, look in my profile and i can probably help you out.
