Touch screen not working but the other buttons work

The touch screen on my lg ku990 does not work but the call and off buttons do work any ideas how to fix this the phone is only 2 months old thanks

This could be an connection problem of your matrix screen. When you open the phone you will see a flatcable with a litte flat cable connected on that cable it could be that the little one isn't fitted well the flat cable is from your LCD screen and the Little flat cable that is fitted on that Flat cable is from the matrix screen (Touch screen).

Lg ku990 touch screen is broken i was dying my hair while i talked on the phone my dye touched the phone ruining the touch screen the phone works but its just the touch screen please help meee

i would try getting a repalcement screen :) sorry to here that. But you may be able to use some type or anti-cleaning agent

How do i repair my touch screen,its not working for my lg KU990 mobile

You can replace it. They run about 15 dollars from ebay and are pretty striaght forward. Here is a link on how to replace the touchscreen on the Ku990.

Touchscreen not working buttons working

turning it off doesn't do much if you don't pull out the battery. Turn it off, pull the battery and let it stay out for 45seconds - a minute. then try again. be patient and don't tap the screen until it prompts you.

When you turn the phone on and it asks for

PUK code

PIN Blocked.
Enter PUK Code

At this point the touch screen keypad is displayed portrait format with an emergency button bottom left.
The on screen keypad is active and the PUK code can be entered.
