Sound but the screen on my westinghouse 32 inch flat screen is solid lime green

By "sound but the screen on my westinghouse 32 inch flat screen is solid lime green" Do you mean that you have sound but the screen is green? If yes it means that an analog signal is being fed to a digital input. Did you recently change the input cables at the back from one port to another? If not then please describe what are colors of the cabels you are using(Yellow, Red, White or Red Blue Gren etc.,) and what port they are connected to so that I can tell you whether its a problem with the connections or the tv itself.

Scrunci steamer no steam when the button (for steam) is pressed Vinegar has been used to no avail. Please advise. Thank you

Its most likely this iron is clogged with lime scale as you have already used Vinegar . Buy a lime scale remover liquid , mix it with hot water. And pour it into iron leave for 24 hours then empty , clean iron out to get rid of any lime scale solution. And try it again..
Hope this helps.

Outline of images turn florecent lime/green!

Hello,

I have seen this before. It is a tricky problem it's caused by two distinct problems causing one symptom. The first problem is with your backlight and the driver for it (this includes the ballast and inverter) and the actual LCD screen (the elements on the edge are not reacting fast enough to voltage changes.

A quick fix would be to replace inverter board that would stop the overdrive problem, now for the bad new the get rid of the green haze you may have to replace the screen, and that could get costly. I am only goin on what I have seen, in the past with this problem there may be other causes, however these will require the use of test equipment to do the job properly. I would me the suggestion that you have a qualified TV technician repair this TV for you.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Everything is Green!

hey jhaskins,

i think one of the pins on your cable must be broken. the cable that connects to the tv.

if its just the tv without using any connections then i think you have a faulty tv.

good luck

I am told my Hitachi 61SDX01B (UltraVision/Ultrascan) has "Green Geometry"

Sounds like a convergence promblem.

Here are some of the most common symptoms of a convergence problem.

Screen looks 3D
One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
Screen is bowed in or warped.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence or magic focus section.

Try to adjust the convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

Its a fairly easy fix on the Hitachi sets.

You can get a repair kit that includes all the parts from www.TvRepairKits.com. The kit includes a photo instruction guide, original Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, etc.
Everything you need to fix it yourself.

Hitachi 61SDX01B

The problem is called green geometry. There is nothing wrong w/the green pix tube.It is critical to get the green geometry

accurate because the red and blue convergence overlays on

the green. If you have more than an alignment issue, that will need

repair before adjustments are attempted.

Screen is green!

Something with the picture tube drive circuit or the picture tube its self has a problem AS I have stated before MANY times in the past, If your not a trained technician, then this is not a repair you should attempt to repair or experiment with for a repair. Find a reliable tech to assist you with this repair as theres too much HIgh Voltage in these set6s for you to be playing with it . Good Luck
