Sometimes my mp3 player will say charging when i plung the charger into to usb port and now lately it doesnt say charging. what am i doing wrong?

Hi dj,

have you tried charging with a different cable/usb charger? They are very common; borrow one just to test. Quite often the cable is the problem. If not, does your mp3 player have options to 'allow charging from usb'? If not, Im afraid you may have to use the power adapter.

Hello i would like to know where i could get a charger for my MP3 players as im going abroad in 2 weeks

The MP3 player is charged using the USB cable and connecting it to a computer.
The other way of charging a MP3 player is to get a mains adapter with a USB socket. These chargers produce 5 volts and you just plug the USB cable from the MP3 player into the adapter.
These adapters are available at a computer or electronics shop or on the Internet.

Not charging

You may try connecting the Walkman to different functional USB port on the Computer or different Computers. Press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds then try charging it. If the issue persists then you may try using a different USB cable. If the player doesn't charge even after using a replacement USB cable then service will be required.

Nothing happens when I plug in my Nextar Mp3 player to the comp.

I PLUGGED IN MY MP3 PLAYER TO THE COMPUTER AND THE SCREEN ON MY MP3 PLAYER LIGHTS UP BUT the normal screen image for when you normally plug it into the computer ISN'T THERE AND I CAN'T ADD MUSIC ON MY MP3 PLAYER.
