Repairing massager

I recently bought a HomeDics Shiatsu back massager in America and brought to India. The product is for use in 110 volt. I used it with a convertor to step down the voltage to 110 volt and it was working well for a week. But on yesterday I mistakenly plugged the wire cord of the massager without using the converter and it stopped working since then. There is no power light glow in the remote and no power supply to the massager. The product has the warranty period but valid in USA only. Whether any authorised service agents in Chennai for this product.Kindly advise me on this. jayaraman,Chennai

If you have not already, register your product with the company. And contact them regarding the malfunction. they should replace the part or the product if you send it in.

Radio Shack, you need to know how much amps it needs and might have to bring it in to fit the plug.

Can Homedics Therapist Select? Shiatsu Pillow with Heat be used under 220 V power? Thanks

If it is set up for 110 volts, you should not use it on 220. Most likely you will burn the motor out in a matter of minutes.
