Nov 16, 2009 - When I hold down the Heated Dry button to turn the control lock on it ...my dishwasher start and why does the "Heated Dry" light keep blinking ...
Well first of all you can check the Heating element, your dishwasher has an electrical heating element that helps to dry the dishes. If the element is burned out, the dishes won't dry properly, and you need to replace the element. Also check the drying fan, many high-priced dishwashers have a small fan that blows air or heated air into the dishwasher to speed up the drying process. If the fan is defective, you need to replace it. Please post comments if you need more help or information.............
1 make sure heated dry is on. 2 run your cycle and when it says drying open the dishwasher. see if it has steam coming out. 3 give me your whole model number. 4. if heater is not turning on then you may have one of three issues. 1. Bad door switch 2. Wire off element or bad thermistat 3. No power going through the control. to the heating circuit.
