HOW DO HOOK THE PRINTER BACK TO THE PC WITH OUT THE DICS

Try opening the dics and looking for the imaging studio folder, open it and select the setup from there.

Go to Brothers web site and look for downloads or drivers. Download the drivers for your model and install them. Also if it has any software/manuals that the model uses you should find it there as well. I you already have software installed I would uninstall and reinstall the software you download.

its a little dificult to work out what your trying to do but if ive got it right you have your back up saved on 1 pc and need to get it on another? if so can you not just burn it to disk on your first pc then load it into your second pc and im sure it wont work on cd it has to be a dvd and asuming you dont have a dvd writer in your first pc and you do in the second you will have to network the two pcs then burn it on your second pc for this you can do it wirelessly but you need a wireless router and network cards or the cheapest way just for the two pc is to buy a cat 5 cross over cable and plug into your lan ports then follow the instuctions in windows to set up a network but easier to buy a dvd writer

save the file on your desktop and run the file which would resolve the issue of installing the printer software.
