Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

It's possessed! the buttons push themselves

My Razr V3 has taken on a life of its own and it's making me crazy! It started snapping pictures randomly and it just keeps doing stuff (snapping pics, starting to send them in text messages, entering auto-text into the messages, etc.) as if an invisible hand is pressing buttons.
I'm guessing the buttons are jammed? I didn't drop it or anything, but the phone was in my purse with a bunch of other crap, and I guess something probably pressed into it.
I have turned it off and on several times and even removed the battery and SIM card. Thankfully, I can receive and answer calls, but the camera is so overloaded with the button-pushing that it's hard for me to get a command in edgewise.
Please help!

Camera will randomly come on and start snapping pics. Have hard time getting it to turn off to end picture taking. What's going on?

Everytime my phone is open it randomly types digits and switches the volume up and down without me pressing anything. It also stops me from accessing anything on my phone- however when i flip my phone shut...

it sounds to me like one of the smart keys on the screen side of the phone is sticking or stuck, there are 4 screws (very tiny) that hold the back cover on the screen, you can remove them and carefully snap the cover open, make shure the battery is removed ,then use a good electronic cleaner or better yet a can of air that is used for cleaning a computer, try and clean the buttons and the switches inside.. i hope that works for you
