I have a 27" Sanyo tv 7yrs old that when you turn it on, the fuse turns green/blue and pops. I have replaced it with a 4a/125v fuse and same thing happens again. Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks in advance for your time and trouble!!

the power supply of your tv is bad try to check the fuses if fuse are open try to replace them with the same value..try to power it on but if the fuse blows again replace the power supply board...
good luck plse rate my help.
The fuse might have blown. Could be various reasons. Unplug the TV. Place the TV down on it screen (on a SOFT FLAT, UN OBTRUSIVE surface). Remove the back panel screws and the panel. There will be a fuse, it is likely blown. Replace it with a fuse of the EXACT SAME amperage (it will be stamped on the fuse [example 5A is a 5 amp fuse]). Replace the back panel and carefully tighten all the screws. Replace your TV on it's stand. Plug it in, and turn it on with the remote. If it works, great. If the fuse blows again, you have a more serious problem. Do not attempt to fix it yourself, it could create a fire hazard. Seek a repair shop.
Ther is probably a fuse and a diode that got hit by the lighting. If you want to try to fix it yourself unplug it check the fuse and change it if it is bad. Then turn it on again. If it blows that fuse then a diode is also out.
