My son-in-law is a computer and cash register repairman. He checked my printer out and thinks that I have a bad charging device problem. Black print works great, but colors just will not work. Blue toner...

The error code 10.0002 is a problem with the magenta cartridge. To be precise it is a e-label error.
The e-label is a small circuit board on each of the cartridges.
Pull the magenta cartridge and clean it.
Now as to the ETB (that's the big mylar sheet with the cyan toner all over it). Get rid of the cyan cartridge, it's obviously dumping toner. Remove all the cartridges and the ETB, and vacuum out the printer...with power off.
Power the printer on and when it comes ready
1. press the select button(check mark)
2. press the - and the 'cancel job' button together (at the same time). release both
3. press the select button. You now should be in the 'secondary menu'.
4. press either left or right arrow buttons to navigate.
5. navigate to CLEAN ETB
6. press select(check mark) and let the machine do its' thing.

Good Luck

Do get rid of the cyan and probably the magenta.

I've gotten three new black ink cartridges from different sources and none of them are registering in the printer which is making me wonder if this is a problem with the printer. I've cleaned the ink...

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridges that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

I have followed the instructions exactly for replacing the black toner cartridge on my Magicolor 2300 DL, but i still have the error message "Replace Toner Black." I tried taking out the cartridge and...

If you have changed the toner cartridge, the printer must complete a calibration cycle (up to 150 seconds). If you open the door before the Ready indicator on the control panel lights up and the Error indicator turns off, the printer stops and repeats the calibration cycle.

1. Open the Status Display (double-click on Status Display icon in the system tray on the lower right-hand portion of the task bar, OR click Start/Programs/KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2300W Utilities/KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2300W Status), and then check which toner color is empty.
2. From the Print menu choose Toner Replace...
3. In the Color list box, select the color of the toner cartridge to be replaced (CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, or BLACK).
4. Select the capacity of the new toner cartridge (1500 or 4500).
5. Click OK.
6. When the toner indicator on the control panel starts flashing, open the printer's front door. The carousel is automatically repositioned so that the appropriate toner cartridge can be removed.

2300-1.gif8. Support the middle of the cartridge with your left hand, and then pull out the cartridge.
2300-2.gif9. Remove the new toner cartridge from its shipping carton.
10. Remove the protective cover clearly marked 'Remove'.
Each toner cartridge has a colored end that corresponds to a color inside the cartridge slots. Always install the toner cartridge in the slot of the same color.

Error Message/Black toner empty

Most all new color laser printers employ an RFID reader adjacent to each of the 4 tomer cartridges. There is a unique RFID chip inside (under a small blue slide cover) each toner cartridge. Whan a new toner cartridge is installed, the printer "knows" such and begins a "countdown" of the number of prints that are made which utilize the toner in each of the 4 cartridges. Once a toner cartridge has "processed" the predetermined number of copies you will get a warning that the cartridge is almost empty and must be replaced. After an additional predetermined number of copies are processed, the integral computer within the printer will shut down the printer until the cartridge is "replaced". If you simply "refill" the same or original cartridge and re-install it into the printer, the same RFID chip is in the cartridge and the computer will not reset the print "counter", allowing you to start printing. You have to obtain another couple of new or "re-filled" cartridges (of the same color or black) from an outside source. The printers' internal computer does not keep a complete running list of all of the RFID chips that have been installed and used in the printer (maybe 2 or 3) and then then it is "1st in / 1st out" of the limited RFID memory of the printer. I have been unable to obtain a "Service Manual" for the OKI C3400n printer to determine how to do a "hard reset" of the internal computer. I know there is a way which would allow the "refilling" of the toner cartridges without having to buy an additional 2 of each color.

Fatal error 163

Fatal Error 161-Toner Sensor Error, Color:Magenta
When magenta toner sensor error has occurred

Fatal Error 163-Toner Sensor Error, Color:Black
When magenta toner sensor error has occurred

Both are Sensor errors....You would first check the lock levers that hold the toner cartridges in, if everything is fine with them then you could possible have toner dust on the sensors. First take out the cartridge that you are having problems with, then use a dust off can and carefully clean out any axcess toner that you can see where the toner sits. there is a sensor that looks like a clear plastic or glass eye that reads the cartridges and it sometimes gets dirty.
