Straight from the user guide, just discovered it today because I have also been having this frustrating problem. Use Fn + F6 - it is a toggle switch to enable and disable the Touchpad. I have a Lenovo wireless mouse now instead.
Remove ALL media, DVD, CD, USB, Shut down, unplug, remove battery, leave battery out, plug in, reboot, post results, give details. Will the laptop boot to safe mode?
You're going to have to make sure you have the drivers installed for the webcam that's on your computer as well as you have the software for it.
You also need to have Adobe flash updated all the way and enable the webcam device through properties.
You can download the drivers and such through the manufacture's website under support and drivers.

Sounds like temperature or maybe a faulty battery. Are you using the laptop on a hard flat surface? Need to in order for the system fan to keep everything cool. Also , are the vents free of dust and debris?
Testimonial: "The temoerature as I said was around 45 degrees celsius which is not that bad if I'm not mistaken. As for the surface, yes I'm using it on a hard cooling pad and the air flows is godd. The vents are completely free of dust and anything else. Somebody told me that some options regarding the power plan might cause this issue, if you know anything about that I will be greatful."
