How to reset the drum counter on xerox workcentre 555

The unit has had the message to replace the drum. Replacement has been completed, but the message remains on the display to replace the drum unit. It had been suggested from others to reset the drum counter for a fresh start with the new drum. Please advise.

My xerox workcentre 7328 has just flagged for replacement of the toner drums. Can I still print until they arrive?

By default, after the drum counter has lapsed you still have several thousand copies left before it will actually cease copies. There is no risk or danger to your equipment by continuing to run jobs, it's just a service message alerting to replace the drum soon.

Need to reset replace drum message on Xerox Workcentre Pro 416

You can replace the chip on the drum unit. Or the drum unir itself.
Google a business called " the parts drop". They will have both the chip and or the drum cartridge. It is not resettable with a diagnostic code.

The drum unit has been replaced but the drum warning message is still flashing. How do I reset? Have tried user RAM clear but that did nothing.

That should have reset itself. A couple of things. You may have received a bad cartridge and need to report it as DOA, from wherever you purchased it.
Also, sometimes if you replace the drum when it says : Drum unit low or reorder Drum, and you replace it before it tells you to replace the drum, it will not reset.
There is a fuse that blows quickly and resets the counter. That may not have been attached right and not the machine did not detect a new cartridge.
