I have a Viewsonic VX2235WM Monitor. Had a power outage overnight that outlasted battery backup. Monitor went off. Have unplugged and re-plugged everything, rebooted computer and monitor shows blue light indicating it's getting a signal. But it does not display any image. Tested computer with another monitor and its working fine. Appreciate any suggestions.
Hello,
The Viewsonic VX2235WM has a known issue with the power supply going out. The flashing power light or no picture is the classic symptoms of this issue. Check out our web site at: www.ccl-la.com. We have a step by step repair guide posted that will guide to doing the repair yourself. It involves changing a few capacitors on the power supply. If you can solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service for $35 plus return shipping. If you have any additional questions just let us know at: [email protected]
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
