IMO Never Use a cleaning disc for Gaming consoles. Which Xbox 360 do you have? Is it the Older Model or newer one? You can Try Blowing into Your Xbox disc drive. Is your xbox up to date, you can unplug your xbox 360 and from the wall and the Xbox. Wait 25 Mins and Try again.
It seems your laser isn't reading the second layer on the games. Regular DVDs have only one layer of information, Xbox 360 games are "Dual Layered" meaning twice as much information in the same area. I would recommend buying a replacement laser from eBay and installing it yourself (as you already know how to take the Xbox apart)
SORRY,HEAR THERES NO WARRANTY,BUT X-BOX WILL SEND U A NEW ONE BECAUSE THAT IS A FACTORY DEFECT CALLED THE RIING OF DEATH,CALL THE 800 NUMBER AND GIVE THEM SERIAL NUMBER AND THEY WILL MAIL U A BOX TO PUT IT IN AND MAIL TO THEM
Same problem and i'm gonna try and find the scart plug that came with the xbox and if that doesn't work , get a new xbox 360 from HMV. By the way, HMV are really good, my xbox has broke twice now and they've gave me 2 new ones no problem. Microsoft need to get it together though!
