Try formatting ur USB stick to fat32 before copying anything on it. After formatting copy whatever ur trying to play. If it still don't play check the file compatibility of the unit. If your trying to play a mkv file and ur unit isn't compatible it won't read either. Hope this helps...

What so I do when my dual XDMA6438 won't play the usb it keeps telling me aux front how do I get it to play

I have read the manual on the Dual website. You should too.
when it says Aux front it is expecting music to come from the front auxillary socket. You have music on a USB socket instead, so you have to tell the dual it use that socket, by pressing MODE UP or MODE DOWN until it says USB.

Jenson requires the green wire to be connected to the vehicle parking brake.(Safety feature) this green wire requires a negative switch to activate the screen.

I have a kenwood DNX7360BT audio in my car with a usb port i cant play any thing on that coz it keeps telling me ''reading'' without verifying data on flash drive

Try to touch the disconnect then reconnect. That seems to solve my endless reading problem with iPod for sure. I think I might have had problem with USB as well and resolved the same way.
