1. turn off the machine.
2. keep pressing the off switch a little longer 3. remove the battery.
4. press the off button for say 15 seconds.
5. re-install battery after a few minutes.
6. connect charger to computer and see if it shows % charge.
7. when it shows 100%disconnect charger and see if the battery still shows 100% If it does you are now reset. IF not,will cross the bridge then.
This is the error for the temperature of the fixing assembly not being detected or getting too hot. The thermisitors will most likely have to be replaced. First try resetting the error by pressing the additioanl function key, then press the 2 & 8 keys at the same time and then the additional function key again. The display should show COPIER - press this to highlight and the display show then show a series of keys at the top. Press FUNCTION, then CLEAR, then ERR, and then OK. Turn off the copier and turn back on again. This resets the error and if the error comes back up again then the parts will have to be replaced. Good luck.
There is a rest button between button "6" and "AUD", You will need a pen or something small to press it. Hold it down for 2 seconds and it should come back to life! The reason it may of protected itself in my case was the hot blowers were on and the stereo got very hot but the safety cut off done its job.
disconnect all the speakers , may still say protect , reset eeprom by holding preset 3 & 6 +reset , display may show dc error , hold preset 1 fpor a couple of secomds then hold preset 2 for a couple of seconds , then display should show dc1 - ok / dc 2 - 0 , then connect speakers one at a time , check wiring ,this may cure fault
hold down preset 3 & 6 + reset
press preset 1 - shows dc err
press preset 1 - shows dc ok
press preset 2 - shows dc 2-4
press preset 2 - shows dc 2-0
then unit should be ok with eeprom reset

E000 to E004 are all to do with the fixing unit.
It can be reset.
It has been known to be caused by noise on the mains supply so a filter might keep it away. To reset. Press the star button followed by 2 and 8 at the same time, then the star button again.
You should now be in service mode.
Select COPIER and this will give you some options along the top.
Select FUNCTION.In the list select CLEAR.
From the next list select ERROR and press ok.
Then switch off machine and back on at the power socket.
If it clears then all is ok. Be warned!! Do not try to change any settings in service mode or clear any other function!! It is very easy to turn the machine into a cabbage.

It's in protect mode. If you have a reset button, press it, it should be next to the SRC button(very small hole, need a toothpick to press) if it works you're ok. if not unplug speakers one at a time to see if you have a short. good luck
the mode button controls the different functions of the watch. time, alarm time, stopwatch, timeset, alarmset, in a repeating cycle. Make sure you are on the time function (seconds ticking and changing every second, but not flashing twice per second. This is the normal mode that shows the time.
A press of the lap/reset button (labeled) will show the alarm time, Unpress will show the time of day. Press again toshow the alarm time. Press and hold the lap/reset button will show the alarm time again, but it will hold there. While holding this lap/reset button, press the start/stop button (labeled). This will turn on (or off) the alarm (tiny indicator). Press this start/stop button repeatedly (while still holding the lap/reset button and you will see the indicator turning on and off with each press. Stop this button pressing with the indicator OFF, let up on the lap/reset button, and the time will return to the screen. The alarm will now be OFF.
SETTING YOUR TAX RATE
you hold your set % button down for three seconds until set shows again, then hit tax rate button it shows your tax rate, change your tax rate then hit set your tax rate should be set.
