Question about OKI Office Equipment & Supplies
I have a OKI c9600
I the middle of a print run of about 20 pages the printer run out of A3 paper.
After reloading A3 the printer didn´t start agian.
It showed the following erro code 342
The graphic display of the printer show me that I should reinstall the cyan picture drum - that its not in place properly.
When this is done - the printer restart showing the picture with "lewel bars" - than there is a "?" on cyan picture drum.
Clicking on "Help" sow the Error code 342.
What to do?

problem might be with toner recycle coil which runs around the back of the belt unit. as the cyan unit is the furthest down the line if any blockages occur it can back up and lift the drum unit up. check the square opening of the recycle unit on the cyan end. Make sure you change waste toner unit when prompted or you might break a gear (big job) Karl Oki engineer

SOURCE: LSU ERROR shows in display panel
The LSU is the Laser Scanning Unit or "printhead". There is a mirror in there that spins really fast, if the mirror spins too slowly (bad motor, low voltage) it gives an error. Sounds like you would need a replacement LSU. Have the printer serviced.

A fatal error 917 means there is a problem regarding the belt **** sensor.
Usually it means the printer can't see the transfer belt rotating.
First thing to try is to remove and re install the transfer belt, if that does not work you should replace the transfer belt.
