I believe that your batteries may need replaced inside the UPS. Even if the system has not seen much (or any) usage, the batteries are only good for a specified amount of time (usually only 2-4 years) and then they need replaced.

It appears that the 5 year period of inop has drained the battery beyond recharge capability. Try replacing the battery.

7.5 volts Duracell battery shows175, 5 NR 44
basically 5 stacked A76 LR44 hearing aid type batteries =7.5 volts

How old is the battery? It probably has "expired", and won't hold a charge, and needs to be replaced.

I suspect you have came to the end of the battery's life in your UPS. Unfortunately, it is often about as cheap to buy another unit, instead of a replacement battery....

The best thing to do is to replace it.

It preformed it's job which was to keep your pc's protected during a storm. As a result, three of your ports no longer work.

It can be fixed but you're better off getting a new one. You'll be certain your equipment will be protected.

Refer to page (4) of the owner's manual for a description of the UPS' front panel controls and indicators.

Looks like if the 4th LED from the right is on, you need to replace your battery.

Left to Right the LED's are:
(1) Online; Boost; or On Battery (depending upon the symbol that is illuminated)
(2) Fault
(3) Overload
(4) Replace Battery
