If the screen is broke as in "cracked", it's typically not practical to replace that part.

Simple answer - take the TV and throw it out and buy a new one. It is not economic to buy a new screen and replace it.

My philips 32 inch flat screen has no sound. please help

I think you should buy new speakers. If the speakers are old it is better to buy new one because sometimes they can be intracatley broke. tecnacally buy new speakers because you never know when things are broke. Also if that doesnt work then you should contact the place you got it from.

Screen broke

Screen broke? or did it crack? If so you need to buy a new TV. The replacement screen is worth more then cost of a new TV. If the screen is intact, you might new an inverter board.

My screen broke on the Fugifilm finepix j12, how much would it cost to replace the screen! I just got it a week ago and it would be a shame to have to go buy a new one, everything else is working fine.

it is better to repair it instead of buying new one coz repairing cost is much lesser than buying new, try to find a repair center near you

You can with a good soldering iron, but you needs a good screen. Get one that doesn't come on and switch the screens. Its hard because they solder the lcd cable to the mainboard, but it can be done.
