Aprilaire 600 replace filter - Aprilaire 600 Humidifier

I know of no answer to this except to remove the coating manually to prevent it clogging you filter.

You can purchase the tubing at most hardware stores or any HVAC supply store. They carry the vinyl plastic tubing and pvc pipe for drain lines.

Hello, no the humidifier does not have a power cord. It needs to be wired to a transformer to provide 24 volts to power it.

Hello, check to see if you are getting 24 volts to the solenoid valve, if you are and the solenoid does to click to let the water in it must be replaced. If you are not getting 24 volts start at the transformer and work your way toward the solenoid valve to find where the voltage stops.

you must have a defective water inlet valve, and its letting water in, just a little.. it maybe dirt in the valve, clogging it.

you need to be using only genuine AA parts if you are the feed tube or try may be cracked AA sells an annual maitenance kit on thier site for about 60 bucks go to www.aprilaire.com

go for the Aprilaire 600 but make sure they install the outdoor sensor and set it up for AUTO operation
