The calculator is frozen (no keys will work) A number 4 shows on the screen and a "C" prints out

Try removing the batteries and unplugging from power supply. Then replace batteries/reconnect. That may restart the unit.

How do I replace canon hs-1200ts calculator battery

Take out the three small screws on the top of the back of the calculator then pry the two halves apart. You will find the small "button batteries fastened to the board. You need to bend up the small tab, remove the batteries and replace with similar battteries.

How do you change the battery in a Cannon LS-100TS Calculator? The pamphlet states, "do not attempt".... I would think it would be easy.

Undo 3 screws on the back. The rest of the case clips together along the outside edges, wriggle and pull the two halves apart (gently). Battery is easily visible and accessible. LR44, replace with + upwards. When you have reassembled the case you might need to press the reset button (on the back, small black dot, use a pen or similar to push it) before the calculator functions again.

Here is the owner manual for your calculator as a free download. http://www.devicemanuals.com/guide/Calculator/Canon/Canon-Portable-Display-LS-100TS-User-Guide-TkRFeE5UQT.html

just download it and save it to solve your current issue and for future reference. J.

Canon dk100i battery change

it's very easy you have to unscreww on the back of the calculator the 2 small screws and then remove the top and be carefull not to unplug the small wires. Inside you will see the battery holder and you will need to remove the battery carefully by pushing from the side of it with something vry small (like a dime) and then replace it by a new battery type CR2016. Then you put back the cover and the screws.

After that you will have to do a reset with a small pin or with the tip of a pen.

Then it will work as a new one.

I just did it yesterday and itis working pretty well.

Good luck
