I have alot of vertical lines on my 42 in. plasma screen i tried turning it off and back on again but the lines are still there, I also tried unpluging the wires and pluging it back up nothing. What could be causing this to happend, and hoe do I fix it?

Mine progressed from 1 line to now 20% of the screen is covered I did have it under warranty and they (CompUSA) cut a check and let me keep the POS. I would like to try the digital board, it would be awesome if it would work, I like the sound that comes out. The picture right now is beyond annoying.

PDP (plasma display panel) is defective and needs to be replaced. Daewoo no longer carries replacement panels for this model. You're gonna have to find a used replacement panel which is gonna be hard to find one that works.
My daewoo has the same problem. I am told an NEC 942-200529 Digital board "should" fix the problem... I have one on the way, I will try to keep posted.

Line faults & possible causes to LCD & Plasma screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Faults to all LCD & Plasma screen are similar, irrespective of its brand and screen size.////
This is a problem that exists alot in new TVs i had a LCD that did the same thing, really the only resolution is to exchange the TV for a new one... or you can try filling the plasma again but this may not work.
YES YOU HAVE DRY JOINTS UNPLUG FROM POWER SUPPLY REMOVE THE BACK/ INSIDE YOU SHOULD SEE AT THE BOTTOM SEVERAL RIBENED CONECTORS FROM THE SCREEN ITSELF? UNDERNEATH YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE 2 OR 4 COMPONENTS CAREFULLY APPLY A HOT SOLDERING IRON AN SOLDER THE ONE THAT YOU ARE HAVEING PROBLEMS YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE FULL PICKTURE AGAINE ANY PROBS email me [email protected]
