At this point in my life, I don't know what I would do with out my car remote. It should be an auto electrician that installs the system. As for the program, I am not sure. You might need to look further into it.
To program new remotes: turn key to the on position; within 10 seconds, press and release the programming switch one time. Press the switch once more and HOLD. While holding the programming switch, press and release the lock button on the new transmitter. Once the code is learned, the programming switch can be released. Turn ignition off. Test remote. Repeat as necessary for other transmitters.
To program remote:
turn ignition on
press and release programming switch once ( the siren/horn will honk once)
press and hold programming switch
while holding programming switch, press lock button on remote ( the unit will chirp/honk to confirm programming)
release programming switch
turn ignition off
test remote
Have you tried DEI's web site and go to support and scroll down to where you see installation manuals for that alarm and either save it or print it ( have lots of paper though because the ****** is 56 pages)
That does not sound intierly tru but what is the year ,make and model of your car and i can check for you. but if memory seves me right it just consists of alot of extra work that most tech's dont like to do.
