Initially what you can do is to try to allow orkut website and include this in the list of your Trusted websites. Click Tools, Internet Options. Click Trusted Sites and include Orkut. However, if your IT department has a Router, and they blocked it from there, then there is really nothing you can do but to ask them unblock it.

go to internet explorer. In the address bar type www.orkut.com

press enter

you should download and click the program after installation and it will load and it will say that connected sucessully and then go to your internet explorer or browser and then go to orkut you will find it unlocked
