TV SOYO DYLT032C will not turn on.

TV model number SOYO DYLT032C will not turn on. If this is a power supply problem, I need to know the test points location for the various voltages for power supply model number FSP230-5M01.

SOURCE: Problems with Soyo DYLT032C 32

Long story short:
Had the same problem with my Soyo.
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting.
ordered one.  Plugged it in.  Did not work.
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed.  It is located to the right of main processor on the board.  You can't really miss it.
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button.  The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away.
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life!
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem.
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists.
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck.  In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me.  I have a spare now it seems.  ;)

What does a power cord for at 32"flat screen TV look like for Soyo digital TV

This cord looks like a regular 3 pin cord used for things like computers, etc. You can get them from home center stores, hardware stores, computer stores etc.

I ahve a SOYO LCD model DYLT032c, the set will not power on and the power led does not light

1. This may be a fuse blown in the start up circuit or a rectifier diode at the AC input ( the primary side ) side of the main board.
2. In any case this will require a testing of components at the power supply of the main board by a qualified tech. A schematic is require to trace all defective components and replace them about 1 to 2 hours to isolate and repair.

Where do I get a cable to connect my laptop pc to the DVI input jack on the Soyo 32" LCD TV?

You will need either a DVI-I to DVI-I cable or a DVI-I to HDMI cable. Your computer should have a DVI-I output or HDMI. You can not directly connect a VGA output to the TV. If needed, you can purchase a VGA to component (Y/Pb/Pr) converter.

My Soyo DYLT032 has power but no picture or sound

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.
