Fault code 41 if those are the correct lights. Service manual says faulty temperature thermistor & change the control module. Good luck with that as that model is nearly 20 years old and I don't think F&P supply that module any more.

SOURCE: I have a Fisher & Paykel GW608U

Hi just read your posting. Now the error code you have is error code 132,this means you have a single current trip error. This means the wiring to the motor and rotor position senor are faulty or one of the 3 phases on the motor is open circuit, or your motor controller is faulty. Do you have, or can borrow an electrical test meter ?To find the exact cause I can guide you throe the steps to test the machine if you have a test meter. Please reply for further help.

SOURCE: My Fisher & Paykel GWL11 Washer starts beeping

Hi

The washer is detecting error while it enters wash cycle. You can try and enter the diagnostic mode & check if it resolves the issue. If it doesn't then you would need check for the fault codes.

To enter Diagnostic Mode turn the power on at the power point and off at the console. Press and hold the WASH TEMPERATURE DOWN then press the POWER button. Smartdrive will give 2 short beeps. Phase 1 & 2 Only press ADVANCE button once. From Diagnostic mode press the SPIN buttons until the HOLD and SLOW SPIN LEDs are on, (Diagnostic mode level 3). The WASH PROGRESS LEDs will now display the fault code.

Hope this helps... Please post back if you need further assistance.

Won't spin gw608u

You need to call a repair person. Or if the washer is still on warranty trade it in. This sounds like a problem from the factory

Hi - this sounds more likely to be a faulty motor control module, its overheating and a electronic component is failing. Only way is to fit a new control module to eliminate the possibilty, another probable cause may well be the RPS sensor failing as it goes into spin mode.

Really need to do a few tests with a multi-meter, see if the motor/stator windings are ok, a faulty RPS at times will give a similar head ache..
