My nokia 6120 cant send message I have the same problem, I have tried to change my message settings, eg, messages---settings----text message---. But in the box where it states messge Centre in use it states SMS CENTRE. When I push on the options button, the only option is SMS CENTRE. How do I change this so that I can send txt messages.

its the cell site no. ask your network provider what's the message center number and input that no. next time you send a text it will never ask again.

Check that the centre number is the correct one for the service provider.
Also in the message settings check that it is set to Message send as text. Not as Fax, Paging or E-mail.

You can get the msg center number from your service provider.
Call them on the fault reporting number (should be free) and they'll give you the number.

you must insert the message center number in the message settings....

to get the message center number follow the steps below...

1. call to your network provider customer care
2. ask them for the message center number
3. note down the message center number
4. insert that message center number in the message settings
and save it...
one this completes it will not ask you for the setup while sending messages..

after this you can send the messages successfully without any problem...

This may be the problem...
Go to messages,
press menu ( - )
go to message setup,
then MMS message setup,
then go on composing MMS,
change the reply type to short reply
