Question about Pc America Restaurant Pro Express

Shift Report When our servers clock out, it takes about 10 minutes for the shift report to print.  Can anyone offer any helps or suggestions?  We are running RPE version 10.5.

Hello, How can I get my Pc America to run reports on full size they seem to only show up on screen as receipt paper size. AND they print like that too.


You may be able to enlarge the image size of the report after you paste or import it into Word. Or, open the Properties/Preferences of your printer. Here you can select to print normal size or enlarge the image.

Cannot run EOD due to shift open issue in RPE

End of Day report is not printing correctly on the Epson printer. The output seems to be too wide for the printer and the right half of the report is not showing up. What should parameters be set to?


Start by checking the obvious. In FRIENDLY PRINTER SETUP, highlight report and select the proper printer on the right. It must be a full size printer. SAVE AND EXIT.
If those settings were OK, close RPE and open the windows PRINTER screen. Right click on the EPSON printer for reports and click on printer properties. In the properties dialog box, click on PRINT TEST PAGE. If the test page look fine, the printer should work with RPE.
Try other reports under the ADMINISTRATOR setting in RPE. If they are all printing OK, you may have a corrupt END of DAY report file. Reloading RPE should correct this, but all you really need to do is replace the bad file. If you have more than one PC running RPE, you can get this file from them. It is usually under C:\program files\cre.net\reports.

Hi, seems like everyday I'm getting new problems with my system. I have CRE Database 12.0031 Product Version: 12.0.0.0 Windows XP For some reason when I try to bring up my employees' total minutes worked...


With your previuos problem and now this, it might be wise to reload RPE and SQL Server. Be sure to backup database first. Then uninstall RPE and delete all folders dealing with CRE. Uninstall SQL server and all related software. You can then install both from the CD or download.You will probably need to reregister RPE. Then restore your database.

Your getting a connection successful because your looking at the localhost. The server would be the network name of your server. And the password is case sensitive and is pcAmer1ca. (Note the number 1, not an i)

I am trying to set up my First Data FD100 credit card machine to work with RPE, but am having problems doing so.


I don't think this machine will work within RPE. You should verify this with the vendor that sold you RPE. However, you can set RPE to manually accept credit cards and swipe them seperately with the FD100. Everything will report OK, it just takes more steps and more receipt slips.

Or you can set RPE to process with First Data and buy an MSR to attach to PC to swipe cards. Much quicker process and only RPE receipt(s).

I can not start a shift


Go to your setup screen. Click on SYSTEM ACCESS tab. Click on TIME CLOCK tab. Under SHIFT ASSIGNMENT, click DON'T TRACK SHIFTS. Click the UPDATE button. This should fix problem on RPE version 12.

Zonet ZPS1001 can't detect Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W


Persever. Change your usb points, and at the last resort get the cord from your old printer and use this type of connection. Go slowly thorugh the disc step by step and make sure you delete any previous installations of the print file in the control panel.
