Everytime i want to add new songs to my MP3 player it gives me this message "Error 0x80070052: The directory file cannot be created." If i really want to add any songs to the player I have to format the player each time i want to add a song. how can i fix this?!!?
Click this link to go to the RCA support page. Under the light bulb, click "For TH1102 click here". This will download the firmware for your Pearl. Plug in your mp3 player and run the file. This will delete any songs or data currently on your mp3 player so back up your songs if you can.

delete any one song in the mp3 and make a new folder.(we cannot create a folder without deleting a song) add as many songs as much you want in the folder!!!!!!
isnt that easy?????
You may have reached the maximum number of files allowed in the root directory of the file system. If you already have a folder on the card, try moving some of the MP3 files into that folder. If you can copy 1 new MP3 file onto the card, that is your problem. Hopefully your MP3 player supports folders!
The Sharper image 2gb player will only allow 131 entries in the root directory. Create a new folder, just like on your computer, and then add music files to that folder. I have not tested if there is a file limit in a new folder.
Can't create directories directly on the m250. I've got about 1000 songs loaded (already broken into subdirectories) that take up 800 MB and the device claims that it's full. (Firmware is also updated to 4.1.08A)
You can always reformat it. If you plug the mp3 player into your computer and right click on the icon in the MY COMPUTER window, and click on FORMAT. It should come to a new window and click on start format.
