Unintentional initilizing! I had some very important images on my rewritable disc, And without realising, I initilized the disc whilst trying to work out why "finalize" didnt show up, they all got deleted. I was wondering if there was any software available, or something like that! I do know that there probably isnt, but its worth a try, they really are really really important! xx

They may not be gone.
I was told to go to a video production store, like that do weddings and see if they can retrieve your info from the disc.
It will cost you, and don't think that Canon or your disc manufacture will reinburst you. They won't. I tried.
Because we thought we lost everything too!
I think there is a defect in the camera itself or the manual is not telling you everything you need to know.

I have a mitsubishi wd-60737 and all the inputs were deleted how do I get them back??

You have to reset and initilize the set. For more details, you have to download the service manual to this set. It has all options, which I can't include all here. It has a reset initilization guide, in tables,. No tables can be included by this window.

I get error when initilize sd 4GB. "card error"

Try connecting the SD card to your computer and formatting it that way.
If this does not work, then the SD card may have failed.
Check the contacts on the SD card to make sure there is no debris on them.

Ricoh af2027 please wait with a wrench no code

Hi that normaly indicates the there is something wrong with the HDD. open the back of the machine and unplug the HDD. Swith the machine on. If it turns on the HDD is faulty. The machine will work without the HDD but you will not be able to use the doc server. To fix the HDD plug it in to a PC and initilize it. (right click my computer, manage, disk management, right click on drive, initilize. Put it back in the machine.) Should solve the problem.

The DVD player no longer works

try this - while in DVD mode (no disc) hit the stop button on the unit and the "10" button on the remote. It might work as this initilizes the unit.
