Question about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker, Midnight Blue
I've been using my Fitbit Zip tracker for a couple of months with no problem. Today, I was trying to sync it with the website, and it seems to have synced incorrectly -- the number of steps listed on the site for yesterday is not what the actual number was. Worse than that -- the tracker itself just shut itself off, and I can't get it to turn on. When I tap on it, every once in a while the screen will display the number 5.72, which I think is the current operating system version. Then it turns itself off again.

Pushing the hole on the gadget is like resetting the unit. This usually fixed all problems that you might encounter to the unit, just like a reset button on the computer. If you already did that and there is no response from the unit, the problem is more of a hardware/internal issue. You might need to contact the manufacturer for repair or call the store and ask for replacement if it is still under warranty.
