New world oven keeps shortening electrics

it could or a short in wiring ---circuit need a meter and test the system

You have a short, probably a wire came loose and is welded to the frame. I assume hte consumer unit is the braker for the stove in your panel.

tripping a circuit breaker indicates a dead short or insulation failure
not being able to move the main switch indicates that the contacts inside are burnt together
only option is to call an accredited electrician to test the circuits and rectify the fault
tell him to bring spare elements is case on e or both have burnt out

your heater elerment has gone in the main oven i had the same problem if you need help takeing it out and see if its the problem get back to me ok

Sounds to me to me like a direct short. Hot wire in unit could be touching part of unit. Oven switch if it has one or main board could be shorted. Oven will have to be pulled to check. Slimm possibility weak breaker.

If it's pulling out the trip it will be a faulty heating element, you will need to get it replaced

You need to fit a new oven element.
This is located at the rear of the oven behind a removeable cover, where the fan is
It is a fairly straightforward job to replace.

This is usually indicative of a short in the oven. Unplug the oven, and clean it out thoroughly. Be sure that nothing is crusted to the element, and that the power cord is not frayed or cut. Its likely that something inside the power supply is broken, and the oven may need a new supply, or need to be replaced if it is a cheap unit.

The main oven element has failed, you need to fit a new element.
If you remove the rear cover in the oven , you will see the element.
Disconnect and replace. Be care ful not to lose the wires behind the aperture.
