So here is my issue, I find my connection being cut-off every 15/30/40 min, its driving me crazy. So I have to go to the connection in the lower right corner and select repair. So then it has to refresh my ip and so on and so on. I've had this problem for atleast 3 weeks and is just now starting to irritate me.
If you are loosing your connection through the wireless connection, you can try chaning the wireless channels. If u r loosing the connection through the wired connection you can trying doing a softreset

The Link im giving is for WIn 98,2000,XP etc and Vista. Both Version of 2wire 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter Drivers are Here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgGovtiQp3g Video Explains,Links you and comes with Installation Pdf manual. Take care
that s the link to the drive you need. Since you cannot get a connection on your computer, you might need to use a friends computer to get the program. Then you can load the driver on a usb stick or burn it to a cd.
First of all change your router to WPA rather than WEP. WEP is easily cracked now and is not secure. That might be what your laptop is looking at.
Secondly, update the wireless drivers to the current version from the website.
Make sure your router is broadcasting on 'auto' (802.11a/b/g, and N if supported), It ay be broadcasting only on, say 11g and your laptop doesn't support it. Updating the wireless drivers may also fix this.
I was also having trouble with my Netgear wireless n USB adapter connecting to my new [email protected] 2WIRE gateway. The problem was that the netgear software wouldn't allow my computer to stay connected to my 2WIRE gateway and the software wouldn't allow Windows when restarting my computer. I have Windows XP and after hours with [email protected] support there was no resolution and they gave me Netgear's suport number to call 1-888-638-4327. After 10 min. the problem was fixed. They had me click start icon at bottom left corner then all programs, then highlight "start up" and if you see anything like netgear adapter or netgear start up wizard right click on it and click delete. That was it! rebooted my computer and it connected automatically!!! I'm not very computer knowledgable but I hope this helped
Hi, had the same prob. I was able to fix it. The file set you downloaded for the driver (TWWGPC_TEMP) has a file in it called Wireless Cfg, run that if you haven't already, that will configure the card. Then open the folder CMG and run the Setup file. This will install the Wireless Client Card Utility. In the utility add the network(s) you connect with to My networks. After I did that the intermittency of the connection went away. I hope it works for you too.
Just wanted to make sure. I had someone last week with some driver issues with 2wire and the download section was crazy. When you scan for wireless networks does it see it? If so is there an yellow icon lock next to it?
