Wont start RCA S1000 MP3 Player i press the on button and it wont start, ive tried everything, the computer wont even reconize it

Try this solution:

Downloaded the firmware upgrade from http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2243/related/1, and follow all the troubleshooting instructions that popup when you start the program:

start the program,
remove the battery,
hold the play button while plugging into usb,
release the play button the the term "initalizing" replaces "searching",
check the box that says "format data",
click the start button to replace the firmware.

After I did this, my pearl started normally, and my computer recognized it again. It also fixed my aac-error problem.

holding the player with the circular button on top, press and hold the triangular button on the bottom left of the circle.

maybe you have to install some kind of driver
or wait till your next outimatic update after their done plug it in and it should work

connect the player to the pc,
open my computer, look for the disk icon for the player.
right click that icon, scroll down to format.

tyr holding both the power button and the play button for 20seconds at the sametime

on top press the button with the "m" on it and wher it says "go to" press on that then click on "Library"

is there a reset button somewhere on the player?
mine has one.
it'll reboot the player

connect the player to the pc,
